Our Mission Your Mission

is to proclaim the good news,
directing our entire lives toward
that oneness
for which Jesus Christ was sent
for which God calls all.
As Jesus was sent to show
God's love to the world,
we are sent to make Christ,
to make God,
visible by our very being,

by sharing our love, faith, and hope.

People of Mexico express
     thanks for SSND ministry

A recent return trip to the part of Mexico where four School Sisters of Notre Dame served from 1985-1996 revealed how much the people appreciated the sisters’ ministry there. They took the good works and used it as a foundation for the work that followed. How can you make sure the actions you take today continue after you’re gone?

Sister retires from
     butterfly ministry

Sister Barbara Boedeker is retiring from her ministry of turning trash into treasure. She hand-cuts and hand-paints butterfly pins and sun catchers made from plastic soda bottles. After 15 years of cutting over 30,000 butterflies, she needs to give her hands a rest. What can you to recycle and help the Earth?
